Cookie Policy

In compliance with Article 22.2 of the Spanish Information Society Services Act (LSSI-CE), and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), AMIDA EVENTS S.L. hereby informs users about the use of cookies and similar storage technologies on its websites.

Data Controller: AMIDA EVENTS S.L. · Tax ID (NIF): B57145898 · legal@grupoamida.com

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites store on the user’s device during browsing. They allow information about the visit to be remembered — preferences, session status, browsing behaviour — and can be read by the site that created them on subsequent visits.

Equivalent technologies such as browser local storage (localStorage) or tracking pixels serve similar purposes and are subject to the same information and consent requirements.

2. Consent management

This website uses Finsweet Cookie Consent as its consent management system. It operates in opt-in mode: non-essential cookies are only activated if the user provides active and explicit consent.

When first accessing the site, a banner is displayed allowing the user to accept, reject or customise cookie usage by category. Preferences can be changed at any time via the “Manage cookie preferences” link in the footer.

Consent preferences are stored technically in the browser for 365 days. After that period, consent is requested again. This preference information is not a trackable user cookie — its sole purpose is to retain the choice made and is not transmitted to third parties.

3. Cookies used on this website

The cookies active on this website are grouped into the following categories according to their purpose.

3.1. Technical cookies — always active

These are essential for the operation of the website and the proper functioning of the consent management system. They do not require user authorisation and cannot be disabled.

  • Provider: Finsweet / AMIDA EVENTS S.L.
  • Purpose: stores the user’s consent decision (accepted or rejected categories) so as not to request it on each visit

4. Google Tag Manager

This website uses Google Tag Manager (container GTM-59F72GVL) as its tag management system. Google Tag Manager itself does not set user cookies or directly collect personal data. Its function is to manage when and how the analytics and marketing tools described above are loaded, always subject to the user’s consent preferences recorded in Finsweet Cookie Consent.

Tags configured within the container only fire if the user has accepted the corresponding category (analytics or marketing).

5. Cloudflare — Infrastructure and security

The website operates through Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) as a content delivery network (CDN) and security layer. Cloudflare automatically processes network requests between the user’s browser and the site’s servers in order to ensure availability, speed and protection against external threats.

Cloudflare does not have access to form content or data entered by users on the site. Traffic data processed by Cloudflare (such as the originating IP address) is handled in accordance with its own privacy policies and the international transfer mechanisms required by the GDPR.

6. How to manage and delete cookies

Users may manage their preferences at any time through two channels:

Through this website: by accessing the preferences panel available in the cookie banner or via the “Manage cookie preferences” link in the footer, where consent can be modified or revoked by category.

Through the browser: the main browsers allow cookies stored on the device to be configured, blocked or deleted. The following are the relevant instructions for each browser:

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Mozilla Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Cookies and site data
  • Opera: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies

Disabling technical cookies may affect the proper functioning of the site. Disabling analytics or marketing cookies does not prevent access to content, but may affect the browsing experience.

7. International data transfers

Several of the providers referenced in this policy are based in or process data in the United States. All transfers are made with the safeguards required by Article 46 of the GDPR:

Google LLC (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager): transfers covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, adopted pursuant to the European Commission’s Adequacy Decision of 10 July 2023 (Decision 2023/1795/EU).

Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Meta Pixel): transfers covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

Cloudflare, Inc.: transfers covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

For more information on the general processing of personal data, please refer to the Privacy Policy available at: grupoamida.com/es/terms/politica-de-privacidad

8. Updates to this policy

AMIDA EVENTS S.L. may update this cookie policy in response to regulatory, technical or tool-related changes. The date of the last update appears at the beginning of this document. Users are advised to review this policy periodically.
